Beach las Salinas is south of the city of Ibiza, in the province of San José, located in a protected natural environment in Salinas, with a length of 1500 meters, its fine white sand and crystal blue waters, the beach is typical of the island of Ibiza for their color. We would say that is the most famous beach in Ibiza, its people who visit, here are the restaurants and beach clubs with more glamour of the island, Malibu, Sa Trinxa and Jockey Club.
Behind the beach, there’s a lush forest of pine trees (Pinus halepensis) and Phoenician Junipers (juniperus phoenicea).
At one end we can see the Ses Portes tower, the Des Freus islets and the island of Formentera.
This beach, also called the Migjorm beach os Sa Cova Llarga bay, is where the ships used to arrive to go to the Sa Canal loading dock to load the salt.
The Balearic Govern has awarded the Sant Josep Town Council with four blue flags for Cala Bassa, and the beaches of Cala Conta, Cala d’Hort and Ses Salines. The Tourist department makes a very positive assessment of the work carried out by the authorities and concessionaires of the beaches that were awarded the highest classification. They provide a clean, attractive place for all the residents and visitors on the municipality’s coastline to enjoy.
The beach of Las Salinas is continuous parade peddlers and the girls who advertise the most famous nightclubs in Ibiza, Pacha, Space, Privilege and Amnesia.
